Two New General Managers Strengthen ePartners’ Executive Team

Michael McCarthy and Dwayne Gunter Bring Customer-Centric Approach and Management Expertise to ePartners’ Senior Executive Team

DALLAS, TX; Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference: JULY 11, 2006 — ePartners®, a leading Microsoft-based technology consultancy with 21 offices in North America and Europe, announced today that Dwayne Gunter and Michael McCarthy have joined the company as General Managers.

“The addition of Dwayne Gunter and Michael McCarthy to the ePartners leadership team underlines our commitment to a customer-centric strategic approach,” said Howard S. Diamond, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ePartners. “I’ve worked extensively with both of these men in the past, so I know firsthand that I can rely on their professionalism and industry knowledge to create a competitive advantage for our clients. They are each well known in their own right for their ability to lead with vision and ensure the delivery of excellent service and solutions.”

Dwayne Gunter rejoins ePartners as General Manager of the South region. Gunter was Senior Vice President of Solutions for ePartners until last year, when he left to become Vice President and General Manager of U.S. Operations for Momentum Healthware. Previously in his career, Gunter owned and operated Signia Solutions, an Inner Circle Microsoft consultancy. He has almost two decades of entrepreneurial and business management experience. “I believe strongly in consultative selling – collaborating with the customer to clearly identify their needs and objectives,” said Gunter. “My ultimate goal is to uncover new opportunities for our clients; to show them how technology can bring them added strategic value, streamline business processes or help them achieve market dominance.”

In his role as General Manager of ePartners’ Northeast region, Michael McCarthy will leverage twenty years of technology management experience. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Operations at Presstek, Inc. Prior to this position McCarthy served as Executive Vice President, Reengineering Officer at Level 3 Communications’ Software Spectrum Business Unit. Previously, McCarthy spent five years in various senior management roles at Corporate Software Inc., a $1.2 billion global software reseller and software management company. He was President, North America and Asia Pacific Region when Corporate Software was bought by Level 3 Communications.

“I’ve spent a good deal of my career on the ‘other side of the desk’ – the customer’s side – so I understand the operational business challenges confronting our clients,” said McCarthy. “I will reinforce that perspective with our employees and our customers. My philosophy is that reality-based leadership creates a clear roadmap that not only identifies the right priorities, but ensures that the entire team is aligned with those priorities.”

Howard Diamond concluded, “I’m thrilled to welcome these outstanding players to ePartners, where their talents belong. Their successful track records are an impressive indication of the value ePartners will continue to deliver to our customers and the entire Microsoft channel.”
